Merlot PGI 2018

The wines with PGI “Codru” (Protected Geographical Indication) are a series of high quality white, red and rosé wines, vintage year – 2018. The PGI certificates are issued after a long process of controlling the wine growing and wine producing. They prove the quality of the wines, produced from grapes harvested on our own plantations. The traceability follows the whole process since vine plantation upon the wine bottling. QWC “Mileştii Mici” belongs to “Codru” wine region, situated in the central part of the country. Due to high quality grapes, the PGI wines possess beautiful flavours and strong, lasting taste. White and rosé dry wines are recommended to be served cold (+10°C...+12°C), red dry wines – at the room temperature (+16°C...+18°C).

Merlot PGI 2018 - red dry wine, with Protected Geographical Indication, produced from Merlot grapes. This is one of the most friendly and “drinkable” red wines. A fresh, well-balanced wine with dark red sparkle colour. The flavour categories will harmoniously complete each other – sour cherries and wild blackberries, combined with creamy and vanilla hints. The soft, round and lightly tannin taste will perfectly pair with lamb or beef steaks, saucy pasta, or cheese, such as Gorgonzola or Roquefort.
