The SE Quality Wines Complex “Milestii Mici” was elected as a winner of the International Award for Commercial Prestige, which is going to be awarded on the 20th of July 2009, in Madrid. More than that, during the reception the QWC “Milestii Mici” will also receive the Gold Badge “Global Quality Management” as a special work recognition.
The decision is based on information provided by the 7 000 entrepreneurs members of the Trade Leader’s Club coming from 112 countries. This underground wine city appeared in galleries excavated in lime mining operations during the 70-es of the last century, at the depth of 40-85 meters, and is one of the largest wine cellars in the world. The total length of the galleries consists of 200 km, from which more than 50 km are used.
